Hey there, remember me? I used to blog occasionally.
It’s tough to blog now that we’re in Peru. I feel like I’m filling the interwebs with hot air about me, myself, and I. Instead I should be out there, with the people we came to serve. Not at my desk typing bloggo-drivvle.
Yet here I am, cuz I have to say something, sometime.
Good news – God is at work. We’re doing those things we set out to do. We’re following the Lord’s leading. We’re trying our darnedest to live out our faith. And at the same time, we’re resting in grace, and not telling ourselves we have to perform spiritual circus tricks to get God’s love and/or your donations.
So I guess I don’t have a real reason for today’s blog, other than to say, “Nice to re-make your acquaintance, blog reader(s).” Translation: “Hi, mom.”
If anybody out there wants to know anything about life and ministry down here, post a comment. I’ll answer all your questions, I promise. Or if your questions are too hard, I’ll make up easier questions, answer those, and then I’ll look smart.
